Lune Croissanterie has announced the date the doors to its much-anticipated Sydney store at Rosebery Engine Yards will open.
First teased in May via Instagram, the opening on December 7 marks a milestone for the Melbourne-based bakery.
Known for its meticulous craftsmanship, Lune Croissanterie has expanded from its Melbourne roots, where it was founded in 2012 by Kate Reid, her brother Cameron, and restaurateur Nathan Toleman. Since then, it has become a beloved destination for pastry lovers, with additional stores already open in Brisbane.
The Sydney location is particularly exciting—it’s not just another bakery, but the brand’s flagship store in the city, making it the primary location for Lune’s growing empire.
Visitors to the Rosebery store will experience a new level of indulgence, with the option to sit and savour freshly baked goods either indoors, surrounded by the warm scent of pastries, or outside under the sun with a coffee in hand. A second Sydney location is also coming soon to Metro Martin Place, though the exact opening date is yet to be confirmed.
Kate Reid’s dedication to quality continues to be the driving force behind Lune’s success.
“We use the best quality ingredients, and we are constantly critically analysing every part of the process to see where we can improve,” she shared in a recent interview with Style.
This commitment to excellence extends into the festive season, with a special December menu offering seasonal delights like stuffed turkey pastries and gingerbread croissants. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a new customer, Lune’s Sydney debut promises a fresh wave of pastry perfection.
