A new collaboration between KitKat and Bakers Delight will see a limited edition Cruffin hit the bakeries shelves.

The new pastry will bring together two much-loved treats – the flaky pastry of the cruffin filled with KitKat chocolately wafer spread, all of which is topped with a KitKat finger.

Bakers Delight chief marketing officer Jodi Murray-Freedman said they had long known Bakers Delight customers love discovering new flavours and creations.

“By partnering with KitKat we’ve brought together two iconic brands to create an irresistibly delicious snack that offers the best of both worlds,” she said.

Nestle Head of Marketing Foods – Nestle Professional Jodi Teasdale said Australians are always looking for new ways to enjoy their favourite brands.

“…so we’re delighted to bring fans the same delicious KitKat crunch and smooth chocolate experience they know and love with a delicious bakery twist,” Jodi said.

The new release comes after the Bakers Delight Custard and Choc Hazelnut Cruffins that were released earlier this year. The consumer reaction to this item showed the Bakers Delight team they were onto something good.

The KitKat and Bakers Delight Cruffin collaboration will be available until mid-September.
