With Fine Food coming up quickly, the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition will also be here very soon. Registrations are still open for the competition, which will take place across September11–14, with the winner’s announcement happening on September 14.

Along with all of the usual categories that entrants and visitors would expect to see in the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition, there is a new title as well for the ‘Official Great Aussie Pastie’.

Competition organiser Dani Lindsay said, “The introduction of a new major title this year means we are expecting a record number of entries in all categories. The competition has grown dramatically in popularity over the past five years, and we believe this year will be the biggest.”

Prizes for the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition this year include cash, equipment, and ingredients to the total value of more than $20,000 along with several other marketing benefits.
