The South Australian Baking Show has had a complete facelift in 2023, coming back with a fresh new look. The Show will take place on August 5 at the Marion Hotel in Mitchell Park and will involve a number of new categories of competition for those entering.

The even will be hosted by the Baking Association of Australia’s South Australia branch, which announced the new additions to the event on social media.

The BAA SA wrote, “The BAA SA are very pleased to announce they will host this event… A great day for industry to network and enjoy the official presentations that evening.”

The highlight of the event will be the new Australia’s Best Sausage Roll Competition—one of the new additions to the South Australian Baking Show. Entries are open for this competition, and all of the other competitions taking place on the day now, with whoever’s crowned with the title taking home an oven valued at $3,500.

Aside from the baking competitions, the South Australian Baking Show will also be host to over 30 classes and information sessions over the course of the show day, before the awards presentations in the evening.
