Fun on the bun

The BAA WA held the annual WA Bakers Race Day at the Ascot Racecourse in Perth, Western Australia, on February 22.

The raceday saw bakery owners along with staff, family, friends and allied traders, get together for a fun afternoon at the track.

One of the highlights for bakers was the running of the BAA WA Handicap, won by Just Like Fire.

Chair of the BAA Nathan Merrett and several guests presented the winning owners and jockey with the sash and trophy Fun on the bun.

Everyone is looking forward to next year’s event already.
