Two World Records For Bundaberg Pizza Store

Domino’s Bundaberg now holds two Guinness World Records for pizza making after the store recently took out its second worldwide record for Most Pizzas Made in 24 Hours by a Team.

The team worked feverishly from 8am until 2am saucing, topping, cooking and cutting 7539 pizzas at a rate of seven pizzas a minute. Earlier this year the store broke the record for Most Pizzas Made in One Hour by a Team by making 837 pizzas in 60 minutes.

Guinness World Records official adjudicator Chris Sheedy, who was in-store to monitor the record, said it was a tremendous achievement to break a second world record.

“This is a fantastic achievement by the entire Bundaberg community – they should all be very proud to have a dual world record holding local pizza store,” he said.

“With two world records, I think it’s safe to say Bundaberg is now the centre of the pizza universe!”

Store manager Deeana Gatti said more than 120 team members came from across Australia and New Zealand to help break both records.“We would like to give a huge thank you to the Bundaberg community and our loyal customers who helped us achieve these records while patiently waiting for their orders.”
