The Excellence in Baking is the pinnacle title for any apprentice baker or pastry cook, and they’re returning in 2022 with State Competitions being held very soon (see dates below).

The state finalists will compete at the Baking Industry Trade Show in Melbourne in 2022, with travel and accommodation provided courtesy of our sponsors. The official announcement of National Winners will be made at the Excellence in Baking Awards Night (better known in the industry as ‘A Night with the Champions’!).

Tasmania—TAFE Devonport Providore Campus, November 11, 2021

Victoria—GO TAFE Shepparton, February 22 (bread) and February 23 (pastry), 2022
