Sydney cake decorator Planet Cake is offering an interactive, activity-based business workshop with owner Paris Cutler.

Paris will share her experience as a business owner and as one of Australia’s premier cake-decorating businesses. She will impart her successful strategies for making money and how she has positioned Planet Cake to become an industry leader.

Attendees will be provided an industry overview, will be taught how to avoid

monetary pitfalls, cake pricing and how to safely expand their business. Client management, finding and hiring the best staff and how to market your business successfully will also be discussed.

The workshop will have opportunities to ask questions and Paris will share the mistakes she made in the first few years of starting Planet Cake.

Groups will be limited to eight people and attendees will take home a copy of How to Bake a Business by small business consultant Julia Bickerstaff.
