Australian Ultra Violet has introduced the IP65 E series from Swiss manufacturer sterilAir AG.

The use of germicidal ultraviolet light (UV-C) technology on cooling coils allows for a proactive method of inhibiting the growth of biofilm and moulds on coil fins, keeping coils clean and operating in “as new” performance 24/7.

UV-C lights can be added to air handlers, cool room coils and other pieces of equipment, either at design stage or through a simple retrofit.

Contaminant free coils improve indoor air quality and increase thermal conductivity, providing an energy-based payback.
