Brisbane-based Brooki Bakehouse, which recently achieved an unprecedented amount of success as a result of a viral TikTok video, has announced that it will be launching international distribution of its cookies this week.

The news garnered many positive responses from overseas fans of the brand who’ve seen the ever-popular videos of Brooki’s business online.

Brooke Saward, owner of Brooki Bakehouse and former travel writer, credits her social media presence for all of the brand’s success.

“In all honesty, the bakery was not successful before I started sharing these videos, so to see people come in-store saying they loved the videos and then translating into customers was a real pinch-me moment,” she told Brisbane Times.

“The biggest shock was when I opened the store on Good Friday by myself to a line that stretched the entire street and started to wrap around the corner. Until that point, I hadn’t really registered how popular the bakery had become.

“Social media can be such a positive force for small businesses out there who don’t have big marketing budgets.”

And now, Brooki Bakehouse’s success has made them a national and international sensation. The brand will be launching its international shipping country per country and is currently calling for suggestions in the comments and stories of its social media.

Brooke is also getting a lot of traffic through the masterclass side of the business—Bake with Brooki—which enables customers to access classic Brooki recipes, as well as business advice and social strategies for those interested in starting up their own bakery businesses.
