Popular Adelaide-based patisserie Abbots and Kinney has recently opened another location, this time in a new $220 million office tower on King William Street in the Adelaide CBD. The new location came after the opportunity to be involved in the office tower was spotted by the brand’s company director and operations manager Richard Wilson.

This new store joins Abbots and Kinney locations in Croydon and Malvern, as well as the campuses of the University of South Australia and Adelaide University.

Abbots and Kinney provides a stylish and sophisticated addition to the ground floor of the office block, which has the added bonus of a heritage-listed entryway adding to its charm. The design of the new location has been crafted around the integration of ridges, which is set off by the marble flooring and leather trim.

“It was a no brainer. It’s an amazing location, with the beautiful heritage-listed entrance. We’ve really tried to tie in with it,” Richard told Glam Adelaide.

This sixth store in the Abbots and Kinney family will also serve the pastries that its counterparts across the city have become highly popular for. A large focus of the new business will also be on serving coffee to those frequenting the office building it’s located in.

“We’ve got some great coffee, a huge range of sweet treats, and an expanded selection of savoury offerings that we’re really excited about,” Richard said.
