The Australian Chocolate Festival is returning for the second year, with some of the industry’s best being showcased.
Run by Bean to bar Makers, the festival is set to be held at Seaworks in Williamstown, Victoria, from July 5-6, and will see more than 40 ethical chocolate-making experts from 10 countries – including Japan and Ecuador – make an appearance at the bean-to-bar experience.
Names like Mörk Chocolate, Cuvee Chocolate and Wellington Chocolate Factory will be joined by Living Koko – a small batch company that utilises cacao from the Samoan Islands – and Spencer Cocoa, which is handmade in Mudgee, NSW. Attendees can meet the farmers that grow the cacao as well as the artisans that transform it.
The Australian Chocolate Festival is being described as an event for people who are serious about chocolate, with vegan, organic, gluten-free, kosher, and no added sugar products all on offer. There will also be an optional Chocolate and Wine Tastings session that will offer visitors the chance to mix and match flavour combinations.
Tickets to the Australian Chocolate Festival are now available.
