The baking industry’s premier event, the 2026 Baking Industry Trade Show, is now just weeks away.

The trade show will play host to suppliers and providers from across the industry with live demonstrations and workshops, including cake decorating, taking place across the three days. Special guest, social media star and baker The Donut Daddy will also be attending the event.

At the heart of the Baking Industry Trade Show are the immensely popular national competitions that are held each year. In 2026 these will include the National Donut Competition, National Artisan Baking Competition, Australia’s Best Pie and Pastie Competition, and the national final for the Excellence in Baking competition.

Rounding out the competition schedule will be the Triple Crown which will be awarded to the bakery that can successfully take home the titles for Australia’s Best Pie, Australia’s Best Pastie, and Australia’s Best Sausage Roll. The title will be even more hotly contested after it went unclaimed in 2025.

Hosted by the Baking Association of Australia, the 2026 Baking Industry Trade Show will be held from June 16-18 at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Registrations are now open for the event.
