Alice Bennett (AKA @misstrixiedrinkstea) and Alisha Henderson (AKA @sweetbakes_) rose to baking fame on Instagram completely independently of each other, wowing viewers with their confections and cakes and setting up online order businesses that turned out to be very popular.

Now, the pair are hoping to inspire others through their new collaborative space: Co.Bake Space. Set up in Richmond, Melbourne, Co.Bake Space is intended as a hub where different bakers (and other creative professionals) can come to set up pop-up stores.

As the brand explains on Instagram, “…Alisha and Alice created the Co.Bake Space—to give you the opportunity to engage with your clients, your humans, your customers.

“The opportunities are endless. Whether you’re looking to host an intimate workshop, launch a new product, or host a pop-up, having an in-person experience is priceless.”

Since opening last month, on Mother’s Day, Co.Bake Space has hosted a couple of different pop-ups and events, starting with a collaboration among Alisha, Alice, and Bloom Boy’s floral designer Ross Jenkins.

Alisha was next, hosting Sweet Bakes’ first bake sale in its ten years since opening. Alice will be next, with Miss Trixie Drinks Tea hosting a pop-up in Co.Bake Space tomorrow.

The shop is well-suited to the life of being a pop-up hire out. The space was designed by Dot Dot Dash and features an all-peach interior that is warm and inviting.
