Sutherland latest landing point for Baked by Keiran

Adding a fifth store to his rapidly expanding bakery empire, Keiran McKay has chosen Sutherland as the latest landing point for Baked by Keiran.

McKay opened his first wholesale bakery in Dulwich Hill in 2017, and has expanded rapidly in the five years since, opening a store in Elizabeth Bay in 2020, followed by two more at Bondi and Peakhurst a year later. Now, Sutherland locals can pop in for coffee, sourdough and specialty pastries at 844-846 Old Princes Highway.

Announcing the opening of the new Sutherland location on social media, there was no shortage of happy customers paying their compliments to the chef.

“I stopped and bought a morning tea treat for my team this morning. Everyone just loved all the cakes I had chosen. Beautiful flavours and presentation. We will definitely be back,” one comment on Facebook read.

Another gushed, “Dropped by today and had an amazing toastie and a great coffee and my eyes dropped at the amazing cakes, can’t wait to go back, well done guys.”

French-trained McKay is famous in Sydney for his 72-hour sourdough, viennoiserie, sausage rolls, pies, canele, millefeuille, and sweet tart varieties.

Baked by Keiran Sutherland is open Monday – Saturday from 6.30am – 2pm, and Sunday 7am – 2pm.
