A baker’s horrifyingly realistic cake, depicting a man in a hospital bed with his limbs chopped up, has shocked the internet.
British man Ben Cullen, also known as The Bake King, is a tattooist-turned-cake artist who is known for his “extreme” cakes and starred on Netflix show Extreme Cake Makers.
He shared photos of the life-sized cake of British rapper Slowthai on Instagram on February 19, which quickly went viral.
The photos show the cake-version of the NME award-winning rapper’s legs cut into several pieces, revealing the sponge inside, with people’s hands reaching in to grab pieces of the tasty treat.

“Made for his music video ‘Feel Away’ – all his body parts were made from vanilla cake and chocolate ganache with sugarpaste details!” he captioned the photos.
Lying on the bed beside the cake is the knife used to cut up the slices, as well as an empty champagne flute.
With more than 23,000 likes and hundreds of comments, Instagram users were both fascinated and horrified by the creation.
“I’m not sure how I feel about this,” wrote one fan, while another said, “That also brings new meaning to the term eat me!”
The cakes took around a week to complete, and were decorated with realistic looking tattoos.
Ben told Metro.co.uk, “Lots of the detail took a long time, like hand painting the tattoos on the body parts and even hand painting individual hairs onto the arms and legs.”
