Fine Food New Zealand will take place from 24 to 26 June 2018, providing Aussies with a chance to gauge the market just across the ditch.
The event offers international businesspeople in the food, beverage, food service, equipment and packaging industries to scope local markets, establish new trade relationships and broaden their presence in the South Pacific nation.
That’s according to Lorraine Smith, Fine Food New Zealand event manager, who said, “Our country is world-renowned for high quality produce, innovation and diverse flavours. Whether it is the wines of the Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough regions, green-lipped mussels and Bluff oysters from down south, multiple dairy products, kiwifruit, stonefruit, apples, even King Salmon and much, much more, New Zealand is both a producing nation and a microcosm of diverse flavours and international influences.”
Fine Food New Zealand will include more than 300 exhibitors and 10 feature areas including coffee; New Zealand dairy; beer, wine and spirits; artisan producers; bakery; a seminar series; an international zone; the best in meat and seafood, packaging, equipment; and a free-from zone.
Also, the adjacent Innovation Awards and showcase program will be seeking the most innovative products and services across three categories: foodservice, food retail, and hospitality.
Lorraine said, “As a trade-only expo, Fine Food New Zealand is a place where delegates do business. Visitors attend to sign up new suppliers, including New Zealand producers with goods ready to export, rub shoulders with the principals of New Zealand companies and trade delegates from across the food retail, foodservice, and hospitality sectors, all under one roof, and see new products and innovations.”
The event happens once every two years and is free for delegates.
