With just a few months to go until Baking Association of Australia’s (BAA) Baking Industry Trade Show, it’s been announced social media star Donut Daddy will be attending the event.

The baker-turned-content creator has made waves in recent years due to his cheeky baking content.

BAA executive officer Tony Smith said they had been pleased when Donut Daddy aka Anthony Randello-Jahn reached out.

“This is what this is industry is about; regardless of their fame many people, like Anthony, continue to give back by way of promoting and assisting these events,” Tony said.

“We are looking forward to having the Donut Daddy to network with competitors, sponsors and show visitors.”

While at the Baking Industry Trade Show Anthony will be assisting with promoting and the official presentation of the National Donut Competition, which will take place on day 1 of the trade show.

“With 1.7 million followers on Instagram, and in demand all over the world, Anthony wanted to assist and give back to an industry that he holds very dearly, as he still runs his own doughnut business,” Tony said.

The Baking Industry Trade Show will be held from June 16-18, 2026 at the Gold Coast Turf Club in Queensland.

In addition to the competitions, which include the National Donut Competition as well as Australia’s Best Pie & Pastie; Artisan Baking Competition; and the National Excellence in Baking Awards Night, the Baking Industry Trade Show will also provide multiple networking opportunities, a packed exhibitors area and not-to-be-missed demonstrations.
