A partnership between Woolworths and Allied Pinnacle has seen a range of elevated bakery products land on the supermarket chains’ shelves in recent weeks.

Allied Pinnacle chief executive officer David Pitt said the range had been developed in response to changing consumer tastes.

Woolworths Merchandise manager Donald Keith said their customers had increasingly been seeking bakery items that felt fresh, interesting and easy to enjoy.

“We’re pleased to offer customers something new that fits seamlessly into their daily routines.”

The new collaboration, which is touted as a modern twist on everyday favourites,  includes:

• Woolworths Jalapeño & Cheese Croissant: savoury croissants, filled with melted cheese and jalapeños.
• Woolworths Cookie Danish: Danish pastries topped with a cookie-style filling, delivering a soft centre and lightly crisp, golden finish.
• Woolworths Feta & Spinach Lunette: a crescent-shaped pastry filled with savoury feta and spinach.
• Woolworths Almond Lunette: sweet, crescent-shaped pastries, filled with almond cream and topped with almonds.
• Woolworths Morning Bun: Spiral-shaped laminated pastries coated in cinnamon sugar and baked to a caramelised, glossy finish.
