Attention vegans, there’s an amazing new bakery and café open in Sydney that caters specifically to you! It’s name is Miss Sina.
On September 3 at 10am, Miss Sina café threw open its doors to Sydney’s breakfast and brunch population. Based in Marrickville, Miss Sina is completely vegetarian and vegan friendly.
The bakery is named after one of its owners, Sina Klug, who is no stranger to the bakery business. Sina and her partner, Jacques Dumont, also own much-loved Sydney patisserie Nutie Donuts.
Carrying over the philosophy of Nutie Donuts, “You can have your cake and eat it too”, Miss Sina incorporates the same inclusive atmosphere of Nutie, which is completely gluten free.
As part of their soft launch, the bakery offered a free Franzbrötchen to the first 100 customers.
Part croissant, part cinnamon roll, the German pastry is a delicious feat of flaky buttery pastry that’s full of spices. The true miracle of its creation at Miss Sina is that it’s totally dairy and egg free!
Along with a range of other offerings that includes both sweet and savory option, Franzbrötchen are a staple at the bakery, which Sina hopes will allow her to get back in touch with her German roots.
If you’re in the area around brunchtime, be sure to swing in and see what tasty treats are on offer – just be prepared to wait your turn. Since it’s opening 3 weeks ago the lines at Miss Sina have been out the door – it’s just that good!
