Lune Croissanterie teams up with Arnott’s on Tim Tam pastry

Industry
A Lune Croissanterie pain au chocolat featuring Tim Tams sits on a dark counter. The pastry has been cut in half to show the interior. Next to it are three cut Tim Tam biscuits stacked on top of each other.

It’s the collaboration dreams are made of: Lune Croissanterie and Arnott’s have teamed up to create a twice-baked Tim Tam pain au chocolat.

The decadent creation is to help celebrate the biscuit’s 60th anniversary, and features a Tim Tam biscuit frangipane and chocolate ganache with chunks of Tim Tam on top.

Lune Croissanterie owner and founder Kate Reid said they were honoured to be part of the special 60-year celebration.

“I am *this* close to fulfilling my dream of becoming the Tim Tam genie,” she said while announcing the collaboration.

“We all have such fond memories with Tim Tam, and so we really wanted to create something that befits such an Aussie icon.”

The Tim Tam pain au chocolat will be available on the Lune Croissanterie menu in both the Melbourne and Brisbane stores for the month of October.

The Tim Tam first hit supermarket shelves in 1964, and since then have grown to become a national icon.
