It’s once again time for the Baking Association of Australia’s Newcastle Baking Show.
Set to be held on March 11, at the TAFE Campus at Hamilton, the show is sure to draw the best bakers from right across New South Wales.
The 2025 competition saw Bakers Delight Bowral and Bakers Delight Mittagong sweep the pool of ribbons, while Bakers Delight Bowral also took home the ribbon for Champion Loaf of the Show – Arthur Denison Trophy.
William Nicolau from Bakers Delight Mittagong won Most Successful Bread Exhibitor on the day, in addition to first place in the 680g White Hi-Top Half Married, 680g Wholemeal Condensed Square, 680g grain loaf, 450g grain cob, traditional crusty baguette, ciabatta loaf, and the Bill Lewis Perpetual Trophy.
Michael Murray from Brown Sugar Bakery was awarded the Champion Cake/Pastry of the Show – Bob Connell Trophy.
