Brooki Bakehouse has appointed a chief executive officer ahead of its next business phase, which will see the bakery brand expand into international markets for the first time.
It was announced in mid-March that Andrew Head would be taking on the CEO position, bringing with him more than 20 years’ leadership experience across property, hospitality, and food and beverage.
As CEO, Andrew will oversee the execution of the company’s growth strategy, enhance operational excellence, build leadership depth across the organisation, and ensure sustainable, profitable expansion across all markets.
“Brooki has achieved extraordinary growth in a short period of time,” Andrew said.
“The opportunity now is to build the operational engine that that supports scale – ensuring we expand in a disciplined way, strengthen performance and maintain the premium positioning our customers expect as we grow.”
Andrew’s appointment will also enable Brooki Bakehouse founder Brooke Bellamy to focus on product innovation, creative direction, and customer experience.
“Our community has grown beyond anything we imagined,” Brooke said.
“What they connect with most is the creativity, the product and the energy of our spaces. With Andrew leading the business, I can focus on developing new products, retail concepts, and pop-ups that continue to give our community what they love.”
Brooki Bakehouse was founded by Brooke in 2022, and since then has grown into a force to be reckoned with. The brand’s social media presence has grown to include more than four million followers, while behind the scenes there are more than 50 employees.
In November 2025 it was announced that Brooki Bakehouse was looking to expand, and was anticipating opening 100 stores around the globe. The move came after the brand secured a $25 million investment from property developer Arada.
There are plans in place to open 30 stores across Australia by the end of 2026, and its first international store based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where Brooki Bakehouse has held a number of pop-ups recently.
