“Our doubly delicious DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER PIE is back in all stores!” the bakery announced on its Facebook page on August 5.

“Two tasty Australian Beef Patties layered between pickle, onion, mustard and tomato sauce all baked inside Banjo’s signature pie pastry. Available for a limited time only, pop into your local Banjo’s to try one TODAY!”

With a flaky pastry case topped with the sesame seeds no respectable cheeseburger would be complete without, you’ll find two layers of burger patty, cheese, onion, tomato sauce, mustard and of course, pickles.

Other specialty pies by Banjo’s include an egg & Bacon Breakfast Pie, Cauliflower Cheese Pie, Potato Pie, Curried Chicken Pie, Tasmanian Curried Scallop Pie and Chicken Parmi Pie, among others.

Like all of the chain’s signature range, this mouth-watering offering is available for a limited time only, so you’ll need to get in quick. The bakery chain boasts more than 40 stores across Australia. In NSW, you’ll be able to find the epic burger-pie hybrid at Glendale, while in Victoria stores are located in Mornington, Traralgon and Mildura. Queensland outlets include Darra, Cleveland, Park Ridge and Redcliffe, while SA residents can trek to Glenelg. Of course, the chain’s original home state of Tasmania has 29 locations to choose from.
