French-Swiss chocolatier Amaury Guichon has laid claim to a second Guinness World Record.

Based out of his Pastry Academy in Las Vega, US, Amaury set about creating the largest fruit sculpture made entirely of chocolate.

Measuring 66 inches by 29.57 inches, the sculpture –Β  a half peeled banana – claimed the record in early November.

Speaking with the Guinness World Records Amaury said it required many years of training to be able to work with chocolate and bend it to your will.

“There is a handful of chefs in the world who are able to craft chocolate to that scale,” he said.

“Not only is the material very precious, very expensive, but it requires working [for] years after years to be able to master it enough to be able to bend it to your will.

“Being featured doing what I do and what I love to do is a very good feeling.”

Amaury Guichon also features in the Guinness World Record 2025 book with his largest chocolate sculpture of a balloon animal. This creation was made entirely from chocolate and sprayed pink with a cocoa butter and colourant mix.
