The Baking Industry Trade Show has been scheduled to go ahead in Melbourne in 2022, and will feature a bumper schedule—including something new.
To be held at the Mooney Valley Racecourse from May 31 to June 2, the event will be going into its sixth year as Australia’s only baking industry-focussed trade show.
The three-day Trade Show will see the return of familiar suppliers and providers as well as the hotly-contested Australia’s Best Pie & Pastie Competition, live demonstrations, workshops and the Baker’s Corner free info area.
In addition to the usual competitions— Australia’s Best Pie & Pastie and Artisan Baking Competitions and the Excellence in Baking Awards—the Baking Association of Australia (BAA) has announced a new competition is on the cards.
The new National Donut Competition and demonstration area, sponsored by Frutex and Vanrooy Machinery, will be the first of its kind, and deliberately launched in Victoria due to the popularity of donuts in the state.
The Trade Show is an opportunity to network with the baking industry and is a great chance to view a stellar showcase of equipment, seek technical assistance, check out the latest and greatest ingredients, and check up on the latest advancements in operations of your day-to day-business.
The Baking Industry Trade Show is free to attend with bookings via the website.
