Urban Grain is planning to celebrate its birthday raising funds for a special cause.
Get down to Urban Grain Bakery to support our firefighters this Saturday, December 7, as it celebrates its third birthday a little early with a fundraiser for the firies.
The Port Macquarie bakery announced its intentions to raise much needed funds for the efforts to fight the fires that have been raging across New South Wales for weeks now with no relief in sight on its Facebook page.
“It’s our 3rd Birthday next month and we’ve decided to hold a fundraiser for the firies,” they posted.
“They’ve helped our community so much, but it’s time to support them.
“We have invited some friends from Port Macquarie and Sydney to cook with us on Saturday December 7.
“Many treats will be available both sweet and savoury.
“All profits going to the firies.”
There will be a range of luxe sweets available to purchase from Adriano Zumbo (Zumbo Patisserie), Tim Dunn (Urban Grain), Andre Sandison (Continental Patisserie), Dean Gibson (Dean Gibson Chocolate), John Ralley (Textbook Patisserie) and Tom Mitchell (Gelato Messina).
Matthew Ford (Chowhaus), Adam Roberts (Cue Deli) and Lindsay Schwab (Ex-Fusion7) will be catering for the savoury taste buds on the day.
The Urban Grain Bakery Firefighter Fundraiser will be held from 12pm to 5pm in the Urban Grain car park, Hay Street Port Macquarie.
