In honour of World Nutella Day (Wednesday, February 5), a handful of Preston Market tenants will be offering some delicious, chocolate drizzled food items.
Between 8am and 3pm on Sunday, February 9, traders in the Preston Market will be showcasing special menu items and offering food tastings for visitors.
Traders with delicious morsels on offer include:
Dragisha & Nikola Bakery: Special menu item of chocolate croissants
Local Pantry Co: Tastings of Pana Organic hazelnut and chocolate spreads
Super Raw: Vegan Nutella smoothie and vegan Nutella raw treats
Calavera Café: Nutella sweets
Rustic Bean: Free Nutella croissant with any coffee purchase
Les Crepes Gourmandes: Nutella waffles or crepes
Publique Bakery: Nutella and strawberry croissants and Nutella hot chocolate
Cannoleria: Special menu item – Nutella cannolo
Local Pantry Co owner Melanie Murcott said there will be something for everyone at the market, with traditional Nutella as well as Nutella alternatives for those with special dietary requirements.
“We have a product in our range made by Pana Organic, it is a gluten, soy, dairy and refined sugar free hazelnut and chocolate spread, so is the guilt-free alternative to Nutella and great for anyone with allergies,” she said.
“We’ll be offering free tasting in store as part of the Preston Market’s celebrations of World Nutella Day.
And of course, like all the food in store, it’s made here in Australia.”
