Popular Melbourne artisan patisserie Le Yeahllow has officially relocated its headquarters and main production kitchen to Melbourne’s The District Docklands.
The move will not only place the patisserie in one of the city’s key entertainment areas, but will also provide the team with significantly more space to continue to grow and develop new concepts.
Le Yeahllow founder Samsky Yeung said the former South Yarra site had been their home for five years, and had played a big part in shaping the patisserie.
“…but as the brand continued to grow, we needed more room for what comes next,” he said.
“Moving to Docklands gives both our pastry team and the wider brand more space to grow, create new products and continue developing the Le Yeahllow experience,” he said.
“It felt like the right next step for us and an exciting new environment to continue building the brand.”
Samsky said the new HQ would bring Le Yeahllow’s main production kitchen and retail store together under the one rood, while out the front there would be a dine-in area that seats 30.
“This will give customers more room to sit down and enjoy our cakes and drinks with family and friends,” he said.
“The larger space gives our team more room to support Le Yeahllow asw we continue to grow.
“For us it’s not only about producing more. We want to keep pushing what a cake can look and taste like. Le Yeahllow has become known for creations that blur the line between dessert and design, from our Balloon Puppy to Le Mandarin and Mango Chiffon Cheesecake, so having a larger creative and production space gives us more opportunity to keep exploring that direction.”
Samsky said from here the Le Yeahllow team will continue to focus on building the experience around Le Yeahllow so it’s more than just buying a cake.
“Our creations have always been designed to bring a sense of playfulness and surprise, whether it’s through an unexpected flavour, form or inspiration. We want people to be curious about what we create next and to see Le Yeahllow as somewhere they can always discover something a little different,” he said.
