This weekend Brisbane will be home to the world’s leading edible cake artists and decorators for the 2024 International Cake Show.
Set to be held from April 12-14, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the cake show will play host to more than 100 free demonstrations, in addition to a hufe line-up of celebrity chefs and sugar heroes.
On display over the three days there will be huge sugar features, in addition to the chance to attend hands-on workshops, and classes to suit every experience level, and pop-up shops. There will also be a spooky Sugar House of Horror you can walk through, Barbie Cakes, a life-sized 3m high Bumblebee Transformer, Haute Couture Wedding Cake Challenge and more.
The majority of the activities are free with a paid ticket, and children aged 12-and-under are free.
Tickets and further information are available on the ACADA website.
