Bakers Delight is aiming to bake more than 500,000 fresh hot cross buns to help raise funds for children in hospitals across the country.
The franchise’s ‘Bundraiser’ Day on March 24, 2012, will see more than 614 Bakers Delight bakeries across Australia donate $1 from every six-pack of hot cross buns sold, helping make a difference to sick children this Easter.
Bakers Delight bakers are calling for customers to make their Hot Cross Bun purchase count to help surpass last year’s total of $104,000. Funds raised will assist in purchasing essential medical equipment and resources for eight hospitals around Australia.
A six-pack of buns come in traditional, fruitless, choc chip and mocha flavours. The hot cross buns will be available in bakeries from March 1, 2012.
