Foodservice Bread Line Claims Complete Offering

A new bread line launched by Tip Top Foodservice claims to be the first nutritionally complete, soft, white bread.

Branded as The One, Tip Top’s new white bread has a “unique combination of nutritional benefits” so that foodservice professionals “no longer have to choose between different breads”.

Tip Top’s The One has added fibre, vitamins and minerals, as well as a lower GI than regular white bread, according to Shoppers Guide to GI Values 2011. The line became available in January and comes into two 700g varieties, Sandwich and Toast.

Tip Top executive baker Wade Ashley said Tip Top has spent more than 50 years perfecting daily fresh bread for the Australian foodservice industry.

“Most recently, we spent over 12 months researching and developing a white bread that will deliver foodservice professionals across the country a highly nutritional and sought after product,” Mr Ashley said.

“Tip Top The One is made from the best quality ingredients available, and follows strict baking processes to produce our softest white bread yet.”

Tip Top said the product has been designed to stay softer for longer and has been proven to be significantly better in softness and taste comparisons with its competitors.
