Haigh’s Chocolates will officially cut the ribbon on its newest Melbourne-based store on June 17.
The new store, located at Highpoint Shopping Centre, will join the brand’s existing six stores in the city.
Haigh’s Chocolates chief executive officer Peter Millard said the expansion came as demand for the much-loved chocolate maker continues to grow across the eastern seaboard.
“We are delighted to officially open our new store at Highpoint Shopping Centre, and share the unique in-store Haigh’s experience with customers in Melbourne’s west, growing our retail offering in the Victorian market,” he said.
The newest location will have the signature Haigh’s Chocolates retail experience, including an extensive range of premium chocolates and in-store tastings.
Highpoint Shopping Centre General Manager Bryce Telley said the centre was excited to welcome Haigh’s Chocolates to its world-class shopping destination of more than 450 local and international brands.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of iconic Australian brand, Haigh’s Chocolates at Highpoint. Haigh’s is the perfect addition to our diverse retail mix and has been highly anticipated by customers, who we know will love shopping the full range of premium chocolates right here at the centre,” he said.
Established in 1915, Haigh’s Chocolates is Australia’s oldest family-owned chocolate maker.
