Dipcro Pastry, a well-known patisserie that first opened its doors on Chevron Island on Queensland’s Gold Coast, has announced its second location at Main Beach.

This expansion marks a significant milestone for the business, which has quickly grown from a local favourite to a beloved destination for pastry enthusiasts on the Gold Coast.

Owners Michael and Evelyn Njam, who emigrated from Indonesia seven years ago, have poured years of experience and dedication into making Dipcro a success.

Their journey began with a dream to create a space where high-quality, fresh pastries could be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. With the launch of their first store in late 2023 they crafted a loyal following with their expertly made puff pastries, which are freshly prepared on-site daily. Their hard work and commitment to excellence paid off when the success of the Chevron Island location allowed them to open a larger second site.

The new Main Beach location, which is three times the size of the original, offers a bright and spacious environment for customers to relax and enjoy their treats. The pastry kitchen is fully visible through large glass windows, allowing guests to watch as dough is meticulously crafted and baked to perfection. This transparency reflects the Njam’s philosophy of quality and precision in every pastry they create.

With ample indoor seating and a sun-drenched alfresco area, the Main Beach site has the capacity to accommodate a larger crowd, making it the perfect spot for morning coffee or an afternoon indulgence. The bakery’s signature pastries, including buttery croissants, danishes, and the famous Dipcro, are all on display, with new additions like matcha-infused delights and creative twists on classic pastries.
