Bridgerton and baked goods… what more could you want!

Dear gentle readers, prepare for the ultimate Bridgerton experience in a New South Wales Southern Highlands town.

Ahead of Season three of the popular TV series dropping on Netflix in May, Bowral in the Southern Highlands is getting a complete regency-era makeover for a week until April 23.

Most notably, The Press Shop café, Bespoke Press and Gumnut Patisserie are hopping on the theme bandwagon with a number of offerings.

Gumnut Patisserie will be bringing some sweet treats to the festivities to add to the floral, bunting and ballgown style takeover.

Gumnut Patisserie is an award-winning patisserie who have taken out gold, silver and bronze at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show. As part of the Bridgerton celebration they will be putting on a Bridgerton takeaway high tea where you can order some of the one-of-a-kind pastries to enjoy. It will include both sweet and savoury items such as sausage rolls, tartlets and the individual Bridgerton sponge with jam and cream.

Some of the attractions include a string quartet at the Bookstore Ever After, floral decorations and an already sold-out regency style garden party.

The biggest draw of the weeklong takeover is the early premier of Bridgerton at Bowral’s Event Cinemas on Monday April 22 and Tuesday April 23.
