Sunshine Coast pie business Beefy’s Pies has opened two new locations: one in Brisbane and one in Toowoomba.

The expansion comes following the company’s acquisition by Retail food Group in November 2023, coupled with a $10.1 million revenue from December 2023 to June 30, 2024.

The newest Brisbane store sees Beefy’s return to its original location in Cannon Hill.

Beefy’s General Manager – Operations Jason Lyons said they had received incredible demand from Brisbane locals to bring Beefy’s back to Cannon Hill after closing in 2021.

“When we were looking for a new Brisbane home it felt right to start again in Cannon Hill and reconnect with our loyal community of customers,” he said.

“We were lucky the site became available again.”

The second Beefy’s store, located in Toowoomba, has been 27 years in the making.

“At last we found the perfect location, complete with a drive-through,” Jason said.

“Our Toowoomba team can’t wait to get to know locals by name, pie and coffee order. We love that Toowoomba is pie country. We will also be teaming up with the local community to support businesses, events and groups in the future with our pie drives and fundraising events.”

The Toowoomba location marks the 12th Beefy’s store across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
