Bakery boom in the ‘burbs

Westfield Chermside in Brisbane’s north recently unveiled its impressive new dining and entertainment precinct to the public.

Boasting a laneway vibe, the precinct features a mix of restaurants, cafes, pop-up shops bakery boom and hole-in-the-wall style vendors. A number of patisseries and bakeries have opened up in the new precinct, including Savour Bakery, NYC Bagel Deli, San Churro and Le Bon Choix.

Savour’s offering features a range of delicious-looking eclairs and pastries, while Le Bon Choix boasts delectable macarons (pictured), tarts, desserts and other French-style baked goods. San Churro’s chocolate-inspired menu also includes a range of specialty cakes and other treats. NYC Bagel Deli offers freshly baked bagels, speciality coffee and shakes.
