Melbourne stalwart bakery Falco, a favourite among residents, has recently announced the opening of its second venue. Β The new store is set to open in late February on Langridge Street.

After first opening its doors in 2019, Falco has already become an entrenched part of the Collingwood landscape, and now the bakery is set to make double the impact on the city of Melbourne.

Co-owner Christine Tran is set to head the team at the new store, which will stock the same delicious sourdoughs, cakes, and coffee as the first location, along with a few extra treats which haven’t been announced yet.

The team’s commitment to local ingredients continues in the new location, which will continue the team’s dedication to produce β€˜sourced locally, baked locally, enjoyed locally’.

The new location will be larger than the first and will, therefore, require more staff to run. Falco 2.0 has taken over the old location of a barbecue restaurant.

Part of the Made Well Group, Falco 2.0 joins its older sibling, as well as Bar Liberty and Capitano, also stalwart on the Melbourne scene.

Christine brings with her all of the skill and panache that she brought to the original Falco store, where she used her considerable experience at Tivoli Road Bakery and Loafer Bread to create a menu that has won hearts around the city.
