Sydney-based gluten free bakery, Nutie, has recently thrown open the doors of its new flagship venue in Dulwich Hill. This comes after owners Sina Klug and Jacques Dumont, who are also the minds behind the vegan patisserie Miss Sina, closed down their Balmain location.
The new Dulwich Hill store opened at the beginning of September to round-the-block queues and many excited customers who couldn’t wait to get their fix of Nutie’s gluten free delights. Opening day of the new store was marked by a giveaway of 100 doughnuts for customers who purchased something else from the store.
“…we love you and are so grateful for your support today and your patience waiting in the queue,” the brand wrote on social media.
“Can’t wait to begin this new chapter and bake you all the gluten free treats you’re dreaming of!”
The news of the opening was met with much enthusiasm online, with many fans professing their excitement about the opening.
The new Nutie store will stock all of the classics that the brand is known and popular for—like their traditional Basque cheesecakes and vanilla slice, as well as pastries like croissants and pain au chocolates. The shelves will also be regularly stocked with products made using seasonal produce, with the new flagship store having a focus on local ingredients. Coffee will also be served throughout the day.
