On Wednesday October 19, the Pullman Hotel Albert Park in Melbourne will once again open its doors to the Australian Society of Baking for the ASB October Conference.
The ASB October Conference is just around the corner, and I hope you have your tickets! This year’s event is set to be an extra special occasion, with it being ASB’s 50th birthday.
Kicking off at 8:30 am, there’s a full program of events planned for the ASB Conference with a variety of local and international presenters showing up to address a range of topics, including:
- “Automation and advantages of Wendel mixing” with Chris Summers of Diosna, UK
- “Sustainability & Clean Label in Baking” with Henkel Adriaasen and Peter Mikkers of Lallemand, Netherlands
- “Next Level food safety and impact on shelf life” with Karin Blacow of Commercial Food Sanitation LLC
Attendees should stick around for the Chairman’s Dinner to round off the day. There will be a speech from former AFL premiership-winning coach David Parkin during the Dinner, which is another highlight to look forward to.
The event is taking place at the Pullman Hotel Albert Park, Melbourne, which, if you’re quick, might just have a couple of rooms left—why not make a trip of the visit! The Mercure, Albert Park, is also nearby to provide accommodation.
Tickets are still available, so if you’re keen to attend the ASB Conference (and who wouldn’t be) head over to the ASB’s website for more information and links to register for the event.
