St Peters Bakehouse has opened its doors in Elizabeth, Adelaide

After months of anticipation, the new St Peters Bakehouse officially opened its doors in Elizabeth, Adelaide, on March 1.

This marks the bakery’s fourth location, this time in the former Café de Vili space, which unexpectedly closed its Elizabeth store in late 2024.

The sudden closure left many customers disappointed. However, the arrival of St Peters Bakehouse in the area is poised to fill the gap.

St Peters Bakehouse, renowned for its fresh pastries, artisan breads, and premium coffee, held a grand opening ceremony commemorating the event, with South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas scheduled to attend.

The opening day gave locals the chance to sample the bakery’s signature offerings and experience the spacious, inviting atmosphere of the new establishment.

The bakery features a large dining area with a mix of tables and booths, providing plenty of seating for customers looking to enjoy their pastries and coffee in comfort. For those on the go, St Peters Bakehouse has also introduced a convenient drive-through window, offering a selection of coffees, pies, and pastries to be picked up quickly without leaving the car.

St Peters Bakehouse has become a staple in South Australia since its founding 25 years ago by former footballer Damian Obst in the suburb of St Peters.

The bakery has since expanded to Thebarton and Ridgehaven, with its newest location in Elizabeth now offering a fresh, inviting space for loyal patrons and newcomers alike.
