Smooth Festival of Chocolate returns to Sydney this September, this time moving to Sydney Showgrounds.

The two-day celebration of chocolate is moving out of its old location in The Rocks where it drew almost 140,000 visitors last year. This year, the festival will run at Sydney Showgrounds in Sydney Olympic Park.

The other change this year is that you’ll now need a ticket to get in. Tickets start at $23 for an adult for a single day and you can buy them online. A ticket will get you access to the chocolate judging, relaxation stage, entertainment, chocolate samples and access to the Ferris wheel.

Tickets won’t get you into the Callebaut Test Kitchen and Wine Selectors Masterclasses, which you’ll need to book as add-ons.

Callebaut Sydney Royal Chocolate Judging will also be running throughout the event, with judges awarding excellence in chocolate blocks, individual chocolates, boxed chocolates, truffles, chilli chocolate, student exhibits, and handcrafted showpieces.
