South Australia’s food and beverage stars were acknowledged at the 2025 South Australian Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards.

Held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on November 14, the awards celebrated excellence across the state’s largest manufacturing sector.

This year Almondco Australia took home the coveted Business Excellence Award alongside wins in the Sustainability Awards and Export Award categories.

Alister Haigh from Haigh’s Chocolates was presented with the Leader Award, in recognition of his exceptional industry leadership, while Phil Donnelly from Mayfair Bakery & Patisserie received the Next Generation Award.

Food South Australia chief executive officer Tori Dixon-Whittle said, “These awards celebrate the people, products, and businesses that make South Australia’s food and beverage industry extraordinary — from proud family legacies to bold new ventures shaping the future.”

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas said, “This industry drives jobs, supports communities, and showcases South Australia’s finest produce to the world. Tonight’s winners highlight the talent and dedication that make our state a global leader in food and beverage manufacturing.”
