Two of South Australia’s most prominent family owned brands – Beerenberg 1839 and Mayfair Bakery 1870 – have joined forces.

The collaboration has been marked by the launch of two new cheesecake flavours: Mayfair x Beerenberg Baked Fresh Strawberry and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, and Mayfair x Beerenberg Baked Lemon and Lime Cheesecake.

Mayfair Bakery owner Phil Donnelly said working with Beerenberg had always been a goal.

“When you think of South Australian family businesses that continue to grow and create, they are truly one of a kind. It’s always a great experience when we can collaborate and bring something special to South Australians,” he said.

“This partnership is not only a celebration of tradition and quality but also a testament to what’s possible when iconic local businesses come together with a shared vision.”

The product launch also builds on the momentum of Mayfair Bakery’s expansion into the independent supermarket space. Since debuting its Gluten-Free Baked Cheesecake in July last year, the product can now be found in Tony & Mark’s, Drakes, Foodland, IGAs state-wide, and has also begun early appearances in NSW.  Mayfair Bakery has also built a designated gluten-free production kitchen in Port Adelaide to ensure each of their products are coeliac-safe.
