Patties Foods brand Four’N Twenty has launched a range of bite-sized party pies for the booming grab-and-go market.
Named Slams, the pies are sold in packs of eight and are specifically designed for the convenience category, with marketing and innovation general manager Stuart Smyth saying the snack-sized portions fill a gap in the pastry market.
“Research shows more consumers are snacking more often, and they are increasingly looking for a hot savoury snacking option away from home, particularly in the morning and afternoon,” he said.
“Slams are a great new way for consumers to enjoy the great Australian Four’N Twenty taste when out and about. They are a highly competitive snack offer compared with anything else on the market.”
