New Farm Confectionery to get shiny new outlet

In good news for the travel weary craving a sweet pick-me-up, New Farm Confectionery is set to open a second outlet in Brisbane Airport’s Domestic Terminal.

Having only opened its flagship store and production facility at 16 Waterloo Street, Newstead in August 2018, the boutique chocolatier has quickly garnered popularity amongst locals with its delicious range of offerings.

Coming from humble home-kitchen origins, New Farm Confectionery is now renowned for its contemporary takes on classic sweets, with elegant, gourmet chocolates all handcrafted with the adult treat-lover in mind.

Producing endless slabs of dark chocolate bark, never-ending batches of nougat, honeycomb, marshmallow, and many more indulgent products, New Farm Confectionery is perfect for gifts or just a self-treat.

You can expect the new airport store to be chock-full of the handcrafted confections and chocolate you know and love, as well as a selection of chocolate-coated nuts, cakes, tarts, pastries, signature hot chocolates, sandwich cookies and coffee from local roasters Wolff Coffee.

New Farm Confectionery won the tender for the new space in the high foot traffic zone of the terminal’s recently redeveloped portion over competition from other chocolate manufacturers.

The store will be fit out by architects Hogg and Lamb, with eye-catching copper details and marble finishes – a luxurious space to shop and pick up your travel snacks for something more indulgent than an airline biscuit.

New Farm Confectionery’s new outlet opens in the Brisbane Airport’s Domestic Terminal at the end of this week.
