Callebaut Chocolate and F.Mayer have announced the lucky winners from the NSW, Queensland and WA draw who will be participating in next yearβs five-day cocoa tour of South America or Africa.
David Hodgekiss from Josophans Chocolates in Lerua, NSW; Leaon Maxwell from The Treat Factory in Berry, NSW; Deborah Peralta from Dellomano in New Farm, Qld; and Lynnette Boyd from Chocolate to die for in Brisbane, Queensland will join a group of 40 Australian chefs, bakers, pastry chefs, chocolatiers and other industry professionals on the tour, to be held in April 2013.
The group will visit areas used to grow, harvest, ferment and dry cocoa beans as well as experience the final production phase.
Winners from Victoria, SA and Tasmania will be drawn live at Fine Food Australia in September.
