Much-loved gelato empire Messina has dropped a new bake-at-home cookie pie flavour, ‘Cone-ception Cookie Pie’, and we are absolutely here for it.

In a devilish series of lockdown snack-packs, the Cone-ception Cookie pie kit might be the whackiest, and most indulgent yet. In a delightful mess of chocolate, gooey caramel and waffle cone spread, Messina’s new invention is really doing the most to pull us out of any lockdown blues.

The Cone-ception cookie pie is stuffed with milk and dark chocolate chips, caramel custard insides and a generous serve of Messina’s iconic waffle cone spread, made by blitzing up waffle cones until they’re smooth as butter.

But, thankfully, Messina knows that a pie alone is nothing without ice-cream. The snack pack comes with a tub of your choice of Messina’s gelato, in 500ml, 1-litre or 1.5-litre sizes, so you can add a scoop (or two) to your pie. The bake-at-home pie takes only thirty minutes in the oven for the ideal crumbly crust.

The Cone-ception cookie pie is part of Messina’s weekly lockdown snack pack series, so if you miss out on this one, don’t despair, the team are dropping delicious new desserts like hotcakes (pun-intended).
