Allied Pinnacle has announced the opening of its state-of-the-art distribution centre, with operations to commence on November 18.
This new facility, the largest in Allied Pinnacle’s portfolio, is located in Victoria with hopes to enhance the distribution of flour and bakery products across several Australian states alongside Victoria such as South Australia and Tasmania.
Allied Pinnacle chief executive officer David Pitt articulated the significance of this venture.
“The opening of our Ravenhall Distribution Centre marks an exciting chapter for Allied Pinnacle. It not only boosts our operational capacity but also highlights our commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality products to our customers,” he said.
Local dignitaries, including State Member for Kororoit Luba Grigorovitch and Melton City Council officials, echoed this sentiment.
Ms Grigorovitch remarked, “It’s fantastic to see Allied Pinnacle contributing significantly to the local community, providing valuable jobs and supporting the economy.”
The facility will house various roles in logistics, warehousing, and administration, while fostering local supplier relationships.
“This new Distribution Centre enables Allied Pinnacle to continue to deliver world-leading innovation and meet the needs of its customers and Australian consumers while strengthening Victoria’s position as a key player in the national food manufacturing industry,” Ms Grigorovitch said.
Construction on the 11,800sq m distribution centre began in late 2023.
