The team behind popular Agnes Bakery has confirmed they will be making a big move in the coming months.

Anyday, the hospitality team behind the bakery as well as top tier restaurants Biànca, sAme sAme, lOs and hôntô, said they will be not only moving the bakery into the upmarket suburb of New Farm but also transforming it into a full service cafe called Idle.

The new venue will see the team expand the product range offering beyond pastries, bread and cakes and introduce a menu of cooked-to-order seasonal dishes and salads alongside take-home products like house-churned butter, handcrafted marinades and sauces.

Agnes Bakery will continue to operate at its current location on Brisbane’s James Street until Idle’s doors open.
